I am calling from ________ (city), ________ (state)  regarding the lawsuit involving the four Maryland HBCUs.  I am asking Governor Hogan to vindicate the ruling of Federal Judge Catherine C. Blake by adhering to and implementing the remedial order of the court, including closing the 10 to 1 disparity in unique, high demand programs, and provide Maryland HBCUs with additional funding for programs, marketing and scholarships on top of what the state has already allocated.  

 

Honor the appropriate remedy as was calculated by the State of Maryland in the amount of $1- to $2-Billion dollars.  Follow the federal law.  Don't leave this for the next governor to settle because justice delayed is justice denied.
